Hamas Will Recognize Israel????
I haven’t seen much media coverage on this one.
Once again Jimmah Carter has proven himself to be one playing the fool in international affairs. He is a shill for the terrorists and the liberal left. He is violating his supposed Christian faith in face of all evidence from the terrorists that they wish all Christians and Jews to be either dead or in total submission to Islamic Sharia Law.
[Excerpts from FrontPageMagazine.com]
In what will assuredly be seen as one of the greater gaffes of his career, former president Jimmy Carter dramatically reassured a packed crowd of diplomats and reporters this week that Hamas would now recognize the Jewish State.
Hamas, apparently, is now ready to live at peace with Israel if a peace agreement is signed and ratified by the Palestinians, which would assure that the Palestinian state would be established in the areas taken by Israel in the 1967 war. Carter made his statement at the Israel Council of Foreign Relations at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem on Monday, following his extensive visits with Hamas terror leaders in Gaza, Egypt and Syria.
It didn’t take long for Hamas to clarify their intentions. Two hours after Carter’s speech was broadcast on Israel radio, Hamas leader Khaled Maschal, who had held extensive meetings with Carter in Damascus, denied that any such assurance had been made.
Maschal, who had overseen Carter’s talks with other Hamas leaders in Egypt and in Gaza, once again reaffirmed the Hamas commitment to liquidate the Jewish state. Not for the first time, the ex-president was left looking like a dupe of the terrorists.
Jimmah sees himself as a savior of some sort– when in reality he becomes a tool of the devil.
We have heard no comment from Jimmah. Wonder if Jimmah has applied for membership in Obama and Jerimiah Wright’s church?
Christians and Jews, beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing.

I need your help.
The sermons of Jeremiah Wright are just the tip of the iceberg.
Lawrence Lessig, a friend, advisor, rally speaker and supporter
of Obama, on multiple occasions presented a video portraying
Jesus as gay. Lessig has radical ideas that he has presented
on his blog. Today Lessig closed access to his blog until June.
He is trying to hide his connection to Obama.
Visit my blog or go to youtube.
Please do this. The MSM is not covering this story.
I have emailed Tim Russert in hopes that he will ask Obama
Sunday. Please tell your friends and associates.
Thank you.

Jimmy Carter, ex-president of malaise, is a DISGRACE! He dishonors our country and he daily dishonors the Name of Jesus by claiming to be a Christian. Well, you know what? I can make a hamburger and claim to be McDonald’s, but that don’t make it so! (pardon the colloquialisms, please) This man, along with Pelosi and every other traitor of the left or right who violates the Logan Act by trafficking with our enemies, should be tried and imprisoned. It all makes me so angry that I am slightly incoherent, and tend to overuse exclamation points!

The best thing to do is to just ignore him—make him more irrelevant than he already is.

Peak9,
Thanks for stopping by.
Yours is a good idea — but there are too many liberals who adore Jimmah. They think he is God’s gift to the world.
Stop by again and peruse my Blog. Yours is interesting!

I have noticed in every letter that the Apotle Paul wrote he always mentions that he prays for the people he is writing to that they would have “knowlede and wisdom.” As Bible believing, born again, blood claiming, saved by grace through faith Christians God, the Holy Spirit will lead us and comfort us through our personal knowledge of scripture. No matter what Jimmy Carter says or does, my knowledge of the scriptures tell me that no matter what Jimmy Carter does or says He is not going to change God’s plan for this world. I will still be raptured out right on time.
What knowledge of Scriptures I have tells me:
1. Satan is the god of this world so it does not suprise me that this country and world is forever moving away from solid Christian Principles or that so called world leaders like Carter do what they do.
2. We can expect it to get far far worse.
3. It dosent matter a whole lot to me anyway because when Jesus Calls me, you can “call me Gone”
4. Knowing this places a deep burden on my heart to share the Clear simple Gospel message with all those that I can, that we are saved by our faith and trust in Jesus as the one who died and rose again, paying for our sins.

Richard,
Great!! You have hit the nail on the head. You have condensed the problem into the solution.
All the more reason to encourage folks to examine the Scriptures and make the decision to trust Christ as Savior… the only way for an individual to pass from death to life eternal. Their choice.
God’s Amazing Grace.

Jack,
Great blog. Keep the posts coming. Your blog’s title is quite creative. Thanks for the encouraging comment about my blog.
I like Richard’s explanation—God is in control. I wish more people had this perspective.

God is in control.
We are his agents on earth.

Thanks Peak9 and CitizenWells,
Yes, God is in control.
But we as believers must remember that His control does not dictate our decisions — or overrule our disobedience or stupidity. We still have a free will.
Yes, God is in control, but He does not make the lost believe in Christ. Unbelievers must eventually make a decision to trust Christ and have eternal life or reject Jesus Christ and remain condemned. They have the choice by virtue of a free will.
Yes God is in control but our obedience to God is not automatic. Believers must make the decision to study His Word and to serve Him, etc. The New Testament is chock full of pleadings that we, as believers in Christ, be obedient to the many instructions in His Word. We have that choice… God does not robotically control our behavior, therefore He does not make us automatically obey Him or His Word. As we believers are obedient to His leading by the Holy Spirit we shall receive His blessings.
But thankfully, as believers, we are secure in Christ whether we are obedient to the Lord’s leading or not. We are assured His blessings if we are, His discipline if we are not, but guaranteed always safe and secure in Jesus.
In Christ eternally,

How is Jimmy Carter violating the Christan faith? (Warning: this is a trap) What do Jimmy’s post-presidential activities in the Levant have to do with Christians? (Warning: this is another trap)
expreacherman // July 28, 2008 at 12:49 pm
Anthony,
No trap, both of your questions are answered in the post and can be gleaned from some great comments that followed.
Besides, negotiating in the Levant is no business of any loose cannon, especially the most failed and inept President this Republic has known..

I asked because I didn’t read anything very explicit about why what Jimmy did was so terrible in the eyes of Christians; I could not ‘glean’ anything concrete.
And so, can anyone offer any concrete or explicit reasons to why this man’s name should be denigrated? (I think he was terrible for this country for other reasons…none of which are pertinent here) So, forgive me, but will someone spoon feed me reasons why his efforts in the Levant are considered so terrible here, on this blog?
Ciao.

Yeah, for a second I thought that perhaps I didn’t read all of the posts very carefully. So I read them a third time and all I came up with to shed light on my question was this:
“He is violating his supposed Christian faith in face of all evidence from the terrorists that they wish all Christians and Jews to be either dead or in total submission to Islamic Sharia Law.”
That is all there is. What follows is a mixed bag: Jeremiah Wright came up, then Carter was called disgraceful, that he dishonored Jesus, lots of of affirmation, then a call to ignore Carter (fine), the Richard Bowman talking about what scripture means to him, then more talk about how scripture is where its at and how god is in control, and trusting in Jesus, and more about him and his word.
Very little on topic (that’s fine, I don’t mind) but I just wanted to know why his actions there are so vehemently opposed by Christians.
