Since we write about politics as it impacts our faith, church and apostasy, this post will continue about Obama’s church and preacher.
On the liberal program, The View, Barack Obama said this about his preacher, Jeremiah Wright:
“Had the reverend [Wright] not retired, and had he not acknowledged that what he had said had deeply offended people and were inappropriate and mischaracterized what I believe is the greatness of this country, for all its flaws, then I wouldn’t have felt comfortable staying at the church.”
To my knowledge, Wright has never publicly apologized nor acknowledged to America or Christians that his obnoxious, anti-Christian, racist, anti-American, anti-Semitic comments offended anyone.
If someone has a source for Wright’s supposed public apology, please give the source in the comments below.
Obama is using his lawyerly language to obfuscate and hide the truth of his real feelings about Wright. He loves the guy!.
Someone in the Mainstream Media must hold Obama to account for this misstatement (lie???) on the View.

I’d say Obama is even scarier than we know. No one stays a member of a church when they have such different views on such important things with the pastor, let alone refer to him as his mentor, name a book, donate money, ect… No I don’t believe Obama at all. We should be afraid, very afraid. Between his pastor, his refusal to wear a flag, put his hand on his heart during our National Anthem, and Michelle’s comments, I’ve heard enough to shiver in my boots.

Obama IS scary — the more we find out about him… I just pray those who worship him so highly will wake up.

Amazing how so many will run after a man like this who they don’t even really know, yet the Lord Jesus Christ who has been prophesied for thousands of years & fulfilled each OT prophecy perfectly, yet He is rejected by the masses. Great Comparison…
On this side we have the Lord Jesus Christ.. God in the Flesh, the Savior. Yet rejected.
And on the other side we have Obama, unknown, slick and his church preaching an apostate message. People flocking to see and hear him… and his false message.

The time has come when people don’t want the true Gospel of Jesus Christ… they want someone to tickle their ears. “Tell me what I want to hear!” they cry. And the false shepherds are only too happy to oblige. Wide is the gate and broad the way that leads to destruction! All the preparation for the Anti-Christ is amazing, completely out in the open. They don’t even bother to hide this stuff anymore! And when he comes, they will eagerly worship him instead of the One Who died for them… how it must hurt Him!

You know, things such as this really should INCREASE our faith in God & His Word. Many reasons, but 2 very simple ones are:
1) The Bible said all this would take place! And,
2) It goes to show that man wants desperately to worship & follow any EXCEPT the Way, the Truth & the Life, Jesus Christ. Thank you bro. Jack again for tenaciously standing for truth. God Bless.

Jack, great post…I heard Obama on THE VIEW say how Wright had acknowledged the hurt he’d caused and HE NEVER DID!
I found your blog through The (wonderful)Merry Widow and am glad I did. God’s blessings to you! In Obama, we are now dealing with a LIAR on top of everything else from him and his pastor AND his wife!
Five years ago, we found a terrific church and I couldn’t join until I asked the young pastor his politics! Yes, one night after a meeting…my heart was thumping because I so wanted him to say the right thing and he DID. Didn’t Obama ever scope his pastor out after twenty YEARS? Sure he did. Blessings! Z
