Christians need to know who supports various Presidential candidates. Candidates don’t get financial support from those with whom they disagree!
Barack Hussein Obama professes to be a “Christian.” [See my Blog on Obama plus the comments from liberal attackers- HERE]] Obama has the personal and financial backing of many ultra-liberal big-wigs.
One of the richest of the Ultra-Liberal cabal is financier George Soros, one of the founders of Moveon.org. You remember them, don’t you? That’s the group who financed “General Betray-us” ad in the New York Times.
Here are some quotes from the New York Times about Soros and his support of Obama.
As for the U.S. 2008 presidential race, Mr. Soros [the main money founder behind ultra-liberal Moveon.org], who gave $18 million to Democratic [sic] advocacy groups seeking to defeat President Bush in 2004, said he supported Barack Obama.
New York Times – Soros Backs Obama

Mr. Obama also attracted major national Democratic donors, including George Soros and members of his family, who gave a total of $60,000.

Some traditional Clinton supporters, including the Rev. Jesse Jackson, David Geffen, the Hollywood mogul, and Michael Froman, a Citigroup executive, have migrated to Mr. Obama.

Who the [...] are you to question the salvation of someone you don’t know? If there is a hell, I think you’ll be quite surprised to find yourself there, bigot.
Lynda // January 10, 2008 at 12:57 pm
Bro. Jack, you had to know the nunya (as in none-ya-business?) folks of the world were going to slither in to comment. Personally, I would go so far as to say a Christian cannot be a Democrat, and that the Democrat Party is the party of the antichrist supporters. I don’t question the salvation of anyone in that party–I flat dispute it. How’d'ya like that, Nunya? By the way, it would be a good idea for you get saved, yourself, before it’s too late. And it would be good, as well, for you to actually check out Obama’s ersatz ‘church’ and what it teaches before you assume this abortion-supporting globalist is any kind of Christian at all. Calling someone YOU don’t know a bigot is telling; what it tells everyone about you is something you’d probably prefer to keep hidden. May God grant you mercy to find the truth before it is too late!
By the way, I am not saying that the Republican Party is not just as full of the fallen and wicked–it’s just that there are enough actual Christians in it that it has to moderate its positions toward that end of the spectrum. The Democrats don’t have that little problem, and swing Hellward without impedence.

I was thinking some of the same things Lynda! Especially the part about Nunya judging bro. Jack for the same thing he (she?) accused him of! A case of Romans 2:1-2 coming back to slap the hypocrite in the face, I’d say.
Oh well, it is good to know that Christ died for this person as well, & if he/she would simply turn to Him in faith, he/she would be saved eternally. Hallelujah, what a Savior!!!!!!!!

Thanks Lynda and David,
Interesting stuff you two are right on the money.
Right, Nunya needs Jesus Christ or he will be the one surprised when he leaves this earth permanently. His choice!

McCain has received funding from Soros as well:

With all due respect to the preacher, you might actually want to do your own research and decide for yourself which candidate is best.
expreacherman // September 19, 2008 at 7:18 pm
Brandon,
Thanks for the information.. I am not surprised (if it is true that McCain took Soros money) that all candidates have been tainted by crooked money. Politics is rotten!
So, that leaves us a choice — which crook do we vote for,
(1) Obama the inexperienced Socialist street organizer?
or
(2) McCain, with more legislative experience (some OK some horrible), accompanied by a VP who has more executive experience than the other three together?
We choose the better of the two… No Socialism for me.

Amen. Very enlightening. I knew Soros was behind Obama and perhaps is taking a play in the current financial crisis to twiddle with the election outcome. God save USA!

Margie,
I like your Blog — very perceptive.
I could add to this post many things about Soros/Obama but there are other fish to fry.
If Obama wins, George $oros will have purchased the White House and will be the power behind decisions.
Only God can save the USA but our recent actions do not deserve it. However, that is the very definition of God’s Grace… Undeserved Mercy. And IF we do survive, we should thank the Lord.. it was certainly not by us!
God bless you and your family,

All this talk, but if Obama gets elected, and you LIKED Jimmy Carter, then you will LOVE Obama.
Stock up for brothers, because a storm appears to be heading this way.

I just landed on this site to follow up on one of Obama’s supporters, Soros. I read some of these e-mails that were so judgemental and fundamentally wrong in my opinion. But that is why we have freedom of speech. Wow what a fabulous right. I didn’t realize your religion had anything to do with being in government, Senator, Congressman, Judge, President. I don’t think we as a nation when we developed parties for running for a government office was to separate the unbelievers from the believers. Wow I wonder what political party Jesus would of ran under.
Just like I told someone the other day, we as a people should be grateful we are citizens of the U.S.A. If we were a nation ruled like Egypt, China, India and the list goes on, would we have the freedom to live as Muslim, Hindu, Christian, Jew, Agnostic, Atheist. Because our founders knew we needed a government based on the Constitution they set forth and wrote, we have these freedoms to choose our own lifestyles with laws , institutions, and government to set boundaries so we can have our own Pursuit of Happiness. Yes our government isn’t perfect but it does give us freedom of speech, of religion and the right to vote for whomever is on the ballot or choose not to vote. Just because you don’t like the person who is running you have to lie about his character or his religion. I believe God gave us free will and the will to choose Him or not to choose Him. In the U.S.A we have that choice. Other governments wouldn’t give us that freedom. Be thankful. There are good moral, truthful, trustworthy people out their which I am sure we have voted for that are either Democrat, Independent, Republican that are not Christian. Just because you are a Christian doesn’t mean you are the best person for the job. I am thankful that I have choices. How about you??
expreacherman // October 17, 2008 at 8:51 am
T Hill,
Welcome to our humble site.
Yes, freedom of speech in America gave me the right to write this blog and you the right to read it. That IS great. Let us pray that our new absolute majority rulers in Washington next year do not attempt to remove that right with the misnamed “Fairness Doctrine.”
Some may not consider one’s faith important in an elected position… but I do personally.
With faith in Jesus Christ should come wisdom and proper judgment. That is all I ask..
Yes, I too am thankful we have choices — all I ask is that our citizens make intelligent choices based on facts — not blindly following, like lemmings, a charismatic leader who stumbles at and distorts the facts .
Obama speaks for himself and what he has said about his belief is very revealing… I have not lied about his character or religion — everything I have written here is documented and verified. You may love his “ideals” and Socialist leanings, friends and associations… but I feel such would be an extreme danger and detriment to the future of our Constitutional Republic.
Incidentally, Jesus was not a politician and would not have run for public office. He is God in the flesh, the Creator of the Universe and He is the Savior of all who trust in Him for eternal life.
T, go to my page above, “Eternal Life For You,” and see how wonderful and easy it is to KNOW for sure you can spend an eternity in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanks for stopping by.
In Christ happily and eternally,
ExP(Jack)

God is all-powerful and he as seen fit that Barack Obama will be elected president in just over two weeks. Who are you to argue with God’s will.

Have Fun,
I kinda doubt you folks in Chicago know either God or His will.
His will is that you trust Jesus Christ alone to be your Savior. See the page “Eternal Life For You” above the header picture. I would like to meet you in Heaven some day.

One good thing, if a person is really saved, Obama or no one else can take it away from them.
It appears things will be bad in next few years, but that darkness will only make THE LIGHT OF CHRIST BRIGHTER.
expreacherman // October 24, 2008 at 6:07 am
Charles,
Thanks for your excellent comment.
You are right — a true believer is secure forever in Christ — and no one can take it away.
Yes, the Light of Christ always shines brighter in the darkness — and we who care will have wonderful opportinities to share salvation in Jesus Christ alone.
In Christ eternally,

“It is better to visit the house of mourning than the house of feasting. For this is the end of all men, and the living lay it into their hearts.”
This scripture was spoken by my Uncle at my 28 year-old brother’s recent funeral. My bro was a decorated combat vet of OIF and died from an RX addiction when he came home.
My bro knew and accepted Jesus and he knew politics, military history, middle east history, and the particulars of the current struggle as well as anyone. He did learn this by watching TV, but by reading source documents directly and entirely, assimilating all that information with his personal experience in Iraq, and by talking to contacts in the military and locals overseas. He was a proud soldier, committed to the cause of human rights, and a staunch defender of the U.S. Constitution.
He would be voting for McCain if he were alive today. His wish was for America to prevail in Iraq and Afghanistan – for the betterment of all.
Nothing worthwhile comes cheap or easy. Freedom is not free and it never has been. The most important lesson of history is that man does not learn much from it.
MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Adam // November 3, 2008 at 12:27 am
correction: my bro did NOT learn from TV; he was skeptical of political bias and so he sought the truth the best he could on his own

Adam,
Thanks so much for your post. Very touching tribute and yet encouraging.
We are proud of and appreciate your brother’s service to our wonderful America, the greatest country ever conceived by man and blessed by God..
If Obama is elected it will prove that our country has lost her way.
If McCain is elected, it means the Lord has once again shed His Grace on us for one more chance.
Thanks from my part of America,
